Earlsway Farm, a carbon net neutral business, has high regard for conservation and the environment. This policy extends to the equestrian facilities constructed and run with eco-friendly care. Both arenas and the box park sit within the renowned Heritage rose collection.

The indoor arena surface (22x60m) is a natural sustainable silica sand surface without the addition of petrochemical ingredients such as wax, fibre, or granules. An exceptionally hard-wearing surface requiring the occasional addition of extra sand ensuring a low carbon footprint. Irrigation of the surface uses rainwater harvested from the farm building rooftops.

The outdoor arena (20x60m) has an identical sand surface ensuring compatibility for your horse. A raised viewing deck runs across the ‘C’ end of the arena. A bank of Heritage roses grows between the ‘A’ end and the indoor arena gallery.

Measurement with the equipment used for the London Olympics arena gave a high reading for an even depth level surface. This ensures your horse can always work safely to its maximum potential. Daily maintenance keeps the surface at its best.

One side of the arena is open above the kickboards. This ensures a good airflow and ensures the arena is cool in high summer temperatures.

A mezzanine gallery runs across the ‘C’ end of the arena and is fully glazed on the school side. Four large windows overlook the outdoor arena. Fully insulated, heated in the winter with a wood burning stove using wood harvested from the farm. Low energy lighting throughout.

The indoor arena is available for hire on an hourly basis for individual riders, maximum of two horses per session.
Your trainer can teach you provided they have insurance liability cover. A copy of this cover to be provided before use. £25 per hour for one horse, £30 for two horses. Available every day 0900-1800. Wednesday and Friday evenings 18.00-20.00

Trainers - those holding a formal nationally recognised qualification and with appropriate insurance can organise and run their clinics (maximum client number of two). £15 per hour for one horse, £20 for two horses. Minimum of two hours group sessions.
Groups such as Riding Clubs can also organise their clinics – conditions as for Trainers.

Earlsway Farm has hosted British Dressage affiliated competitions from Preliminary to Advanced levels including Regional Championships.
Both the indoor and outdoor arena are available for hire for dressage competition use. The arena can also be booked for alternative uses such as dog training. Please contact me for more details.

Hire conditions: Please remove any droppings from the arena and place them in the wheelbarrow provided. Please also remove any droppings and loose hay from the box park and place them in the muck trailer beside the stable block. Please no lungeing or loose schooling. Please make some attempt not to ride continually around on the track. Hard hats must be worn. Please do not use the jumps or poles.
Please leave everything neat and tidy. Failure to comply may result in refusal of future bookings.
